After the success of Persona 3 Reload, JRPG masters Atlus are back with Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of one of the series' most important games. At gamescom 2026 we spoke with Kazuhisa Wada, general producer for the Persona team, Akane Kabayashi, art director on P4R, and interpreter Gavin Greene, and discovered their favorite in-game romances.

Additionally, we learn more about the studio's approach to reviving a beloved classic, from adding brand new combat systems to refreshing character designs in a way that honors the original versions.

Persona 4 Revival launches February 18, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam).
