We decide to talk to Namatame and manage to get him feeling comfortable with us and answer our question.
It seems the first person he threw in was Yukiko! That means he had nothing to do with the two murdered girls...He even says they were killed and he couldn't save them. Seems we are right so far.
He has been putting people in the TV after Yamano and Saki when he realized that the midnight channel had people end up murdered.
It doesn't seem he knows who killed the girls so he isn't connected with the killer. He doesn't know about the warning letters...
We ask why he entered the TV and he never knew what it was like inside until he stepped in there with Nanako...
Namatame decides to tell us his story and what happened from his point of view.
It was at his parents house when he saw the midnight channel after drinking and saw Mayumi on the TV calling for help. He tried to reach for her and his arm went into the TV... He thought he was just too drunk and went to work only to discover Mayumi was found dead when he got home.
He wondered if it had been a dream and realized that it was truth. He couldn't help but thing her showing on the Midnight channel and next day dead was connected. It's then when he looked again and saw a girl calling for help..Saki...
He got a job from his parents after losing his own and had to delivery a package to the alchohol shop. Saki's family one where he met her. Thats where he saw her look like she was being eaten by a black shape...Of course she was found dead...
Namatame couldn't take it and blamed himself. Nobody depended on him and he couldn't forgive himself for doing nothing....
