If my cat wants food at 5 AM, she doesn't meow once and walk away—she keeps pushing until she gets results! The same logic applies to prompt engineering.
If an AI's first response seems generic or surface-level, don't walk away disappointed. Use iterative prompting. In this video, I walk through a real-world example where an initial prompt gave a simple summary of a customer service email. By prompting iteratively—asking the AI to check headers and look for canned templates—we uncovered that the response was fully automated.
