This three-part video explores the complex process of wildfire recovery, landscape-related challenges and the social and emotional dimensions of rebuilding after wildfire.
Oregon State University social and natural scientists Amanda Thiel, Jenna Tilt and Lisa Ellsworth, along with partner organizations, interviewed over 150 people across Washington, Oregon and California to learn about their experiences with wildfire recovery. Resoundingly, residents and recovery workers shared that the path to recovery is not straight, nor short.
