Formed in the landlocked country of Andorra in 2001, they’ve released many concept-driven releases like “Core,” “Spiritual Migration,” “Aathma,” and “Metanoia,” exploring mythology, spirituality, mortality, and self-transformation through intricate songwriting that bridges brutality and beauty. In the latest release “Lingua Ignota: Part I” Persefone continues to push the boundaries of modern progressive metal with a sound that is both emotionally expansive and relentlessly precise.
