Bongga Ka Day (The Album) is a vibrant, modern-day tribute to the iconic “manila sound” pioneers, Hotdog, reimagining their timeless hits through the voice of today’s brightest music stars. This celebratory collection brings fresh energy to legendary anthems, featuring Atasha Muhlach’s take on “Pers Lab,” Aubrey Caraan on “Panaginip,” Earl Agustin’s rendition of “Akala Ko,” and Rob Deniel’s spin on “Manila.” The album’s infectious spirit continues with RAYA and GAT’s performance of the title track “Bongga Ka Day,” Alamat and Mia Bella’s “Beh Buti Nga,” Jeff Moses’ “Ikaw Ang Miss Universe Ng Buhay Ko,” Anthony Rosaldo’s “Dying To Tell You,” and Wilbert Ross’ “Sa Isip Ko.” Completing this nostalgic yet revitalized lineup are Adie’s “Bitin Sa Iyo,” and The Juans’ vibrant interpretation of “Annie Batungbakal,” together forming a heartfelt homage that bridges generations.
