Grafana Cloud Performance & Load Testing is a fully managed, scalable performance-testing service built into Grafana Cloud. It lets teams author tests-as-code, run distributed load at scale from many locations, and analyze results side-by-side with existing metrics, logs, and traces.
Grafana Cloud runs and scales load infrastructure for you—handling distributed load zones, test orchestration, and metric aggregation—so your team can focus on defining realistic traffic patterns and interpreting results, not on maintaining test infrastructure. Execute globally distributed tests (including private load zones) to validate performance from the regions that matter to your users.
Author tests in JavaScript/TypeScript using the API, or use k6 Studio and the Grafana Cloud Test Builder to create tests without hand-coding. Model complex scenarios (ramping VUs, constant load, shared iterations, multi-geo traffic) in code or the UI, then run tests at scale and review curated dashboards showing request rates, latency, error rates, and pass/fail thresholds based on SLOs.
Test results are integrated directly into Grafana, so you can correlate k6 metrics with application and infrastructure telemetry, pivot into Explore, and trace the root cause of performance issues across the stack. Grafana Cloud k6 also fits into CI/CD workflows: run tests locally, in CI (GitHub Actions, etc.), or in Grafana Cloud and use thresholds as automated gates for safe deployments.
