One the evening of Saturday, March 16th, we proudly featured a collaboration between VR/AI/moving image artist Krista Faist and jazz improv quintet consisting of Gerard Cox, Chris Weldon, Aaron Putnam, Chris Haas, and Bryan Stewart as part of Krista’s 2024 Fuse Factory artist residency. Experimental musician/maker Bubba Fontaine (IN) opened for Krista and the Cox Quintet.
About the artist: Bubba Fontaine is an American experimental songwriter, composer, guitarist, multimedia artist, and maker from Indianapolis, Indiana. His music is eclectic and sometimes, deliberately, a little bizarre. No single musical genre encapsulates the entire Fontaine catalog. However, his most recent aural creations have been described or labeled as all of the following: experimental, avant-garde chamber, and ambient electro-acoustic music.
