Here's a song I've been writing, deleting, re-writing, editing, and generally mutilating since roughly some time after my mom died. The lyrics started out about her, I completely re-wrote those as well. Now they're about the dangers of love, depression, and coping mechanisms. You know..... "mental stuff". Anyway..... it has been an agonizing pisser of a song to get right, and I'm still not sure it's right.... but frankly, I'm tired of hearing the fucking thing. Normally, when I'm tired of hearing my own song, (as well as the neighborhood) that's usually a good sign that it's done.
So yeah..... here.....
