This is a highlight from my stream showing off some strategies for Perfect Theatre. I'll be describing things you can do to make each encounter easier. This is from my perspective, where I was doing the mage role.
General Notes
- All team members on ancients, only 2 freezing at maiden, 3 for verzik crabs.
- Everyone brings range pots for nylo/xarpus
- Everyone gets there own stam.
- Try and maintain high stats at least during any DPS check phases like p3 Verzik, but ultimately don't greed for dps in encounters you don't need to.
Maiden:
- Although we didn't do it, you can opt in for everyone to bow super far so you always have enough time for dodging blood.
- Run a few extra tiles to dodge shotgun bloods, as one person, usually the furthest person will get more blood thrown at them.
- 2 People should freeze.
- Always kill the crabs first and then damage the boss.
- Freeze blood spawns and kill them to make your life easier.
Bloat:
- Just play it super safe, don't greed for dps and opt to leave earlier. Even if it means 3/4 down.
- Remember, hands can't fall in the same place twice, so if there's convenient spots you can run to that you know a hand can't fall in, use it.
Nylo:
- For waves: Always try and right click, take your time and click on the appropriate nylos.
- Be careful when pathing to the middle as nylos running about can run into your mouse.
- Be cautious on chinning/barraging, as wrong styling will fail the task.
- In the later waves, when they began swapping colors, kill those nylos off as soon as possible once they enter the room, as they can pose a threat otherwise (you might click on it a tick after it swaps)
- For the boss: Take your time on getting prayers on then gear, do whatever switches you feel the most comfortable with that you reduce the chance of wrong styling or missing your prayers.
Sotetseg:
- After speccing, try and flinch.
- For big ball, tick eat as stacking in the middle poses a chance of someone getting cucked by balls.
- Try your best to pay attention to orb splits.
- Take your time on running the maze.
- Also, when running off the maze, pray melee incase you get a cheeky hit off the maze, since taking hits on the wrong prayer assuming damage is done, fails the task. Or whenever you do an attack that puts you on the same tick as him attacking.
Xarpus:
- This room is, in my opinion, one of the harder ones. For exhumed phase, remember that only 2 heals can come out of an individual exhumed. If you run to one and only one goes in, that means you could in theory run off of it early if it means running to other exhumeds people can't run to.
- Try to triangulate/space out between one another to make it easier to reach exhumeds in time.
- Spec by doing 1:1 (hammer into BGS) then run to the wall, blowpipe if good specs, tbow if bad specs. Move every 2 squares on the tick it turns to you.
- Once screech procs, seriously take your time to run to the boss and most importantly, be careful of running to spots you might have been previously standing by due to late splats being a possibility.
Verzik:
- This room can be the easiest, but also the hardest if not done right.
- Do p1 as you normally would without tanking balls. Hato p1 in trio without tanking hits works completely fine but you can opt out of doing trident hits if you want extra ticks to be safe.
- After p1, run to the walls, and wait for the crabs to spawn, make sure you dodge projectiles from verzik as you walk around. Coordinate who freezes which crab. Leave purple alive until 35%.
- Shockballs will periodically be thrown, but it'll only fail the task IF the shockball detonates due to bouncing 4 times. If it insta detonates, the task will not fail. Make sure your HP is high incase of tanking multiple shock balls though.
- Once crabs are frozen, wait for them to detonate then wait for another shockball detonation, then run into the boss and begin DPSing the boss.
- Hold your special attack for p3.
- Do reds as you normally would, but don't chance bounces/getting hit.
- When P3 begins, do it as normal, but be ready for freezing crabs. Tanker should focus on tanking and not try freezing crabs.
- Try to not run directly under the boss, as the closer you are under her, the less time you have to change your prayers.
- Drag boss far away from the middle just to ensure everyone has enough time to run to the web tile.
- Get boss close to 20% before yellows, do NOT proc.
- After yellows, dump claws/special attacks into the boss and try to out DPS it before green ball. Try and make sure to be cautious with your pathing to not get nado'd
- If green ball does happen, try to bounce it once to extend the time you have to kill the boss.
- If the DPS is super bad, your task might fail and you might have to run it again. But otherwise this strategy is relatively easy to execute.
That's it for the information! Let me know if you have any questions!
