Holy F U C K was this a thing. I had nearly finished it last year pretty much immediately after I joined, got all but 1 long shot near the end done, but after my first test render to check the timing I was made aware of all the things I could fix. Cue me not working on it for a YEAR. Finally get back to it, and the project is like corrupted ause I updated my After Effects, so instead of fixing the old manips I had to make them over. I was in hell.
Still, this is the video that made this my non/disney OT3 officially, I saw a lot of improvement between the old and new renders, I learned some new tricks and was able to make shots I was okay with exactly how I wanted them to look, and all in all I'm extremely proud of this. I have one more part for this mep to give to Meg which I'll work on in the new year, so keep an eye out for that one too ;)
Plot: Aurora and Tulio are in a fairytale wedding, everything is perfect, until the night where Tulio loses his temper and does something he really regrets. Aurora awakens during her own funeral as a ghost haunting the church she was buried next to, and it's there where she 'meets' Jim, a distraught teen asking god why he was born gay in a town that hates him. Aurora, unknowing of his orientation, falls in love instantly, but because she's only a ghost she can only watch as her new love falls for the one who killed her.
Because I was so incredibly inspired I decided last year that I would actually make this into a full lgenth video with a different song. It'll explore Aurora and Tulio's relationship more before and during the marriage, go into Jim's past and his and Tulio's future, and how Aurora eventually crosses over even though she starts to turn almost vengeful towards Tulio.
