How to determine the Tier of the Experimental Affix that you receive from a Glyph of Insight:

The calculation to determine the Tier of the new Experimental Affix is just a set of flags:
Baseline the Affix is Tier 0. Then:
1) Does the item have two unsealed Suffixes that are the same Tier? If so, +1
2) Is the highest Prefix on the item higher than T5? If so, +1
3) Does the item have a Sealed Affix of t2 or higher? If so, +1
4) Is the item Exalted? If so, +1
Example:
This yields a t4 Affix from an Insight:
1. Exalted,
2. Highest Prefix higher than T5,
3. Sealed Affix T2+,
4. Suffixes match tier
So an Exalted Prefix helps skip two of those.
Otherwise double Exalted Suffix of same tier and T6+ Prefix would be very very difficult.

Assuming an item that only has 1 Affix:
TAT:1 - Dodge/Endurance
TAT:2 - Ward/HP
TAT:3 - Armour/DoT
TAT:4 - Ward/Kill
Assuming an item that has 4 Affixes:
TAT:4 - Dodge
TAT:5 - Ward/HP
TAT:6 - Armour/DoT
TAT:7 - Ward/Kill
...then repeat the order ad nauseam
To account for any # of affixes on gloves,
TAT minus Affix Count = 0, Dodge
TAT minus Affix Count = 1, Ward/HP
TAT minus Affix Count = 2, Armour/DOT
TAT minus Affix Count = 3, Ward on Kill

FP 13 - frenzy
FP 14 - ward on traversal
FP 15 - minion TP
FP 16 - haste
...then repeat the order ad nauseam
