[Past Me Description]
More info here! (and some spoilers)
Recorded using Microsoft's Win+G game bar recording tool
This would be the third time I've completed this map on UN and the first time I would think to record it. I did this on International-Doom source port so I didn't record a .lmp as it wouldn't be compatible with vanilla, prboom, etc.
There's an odd audio bug(?) with the latest release of International-Doom (ver. used in this video is 5.2.0.0) where ALL enemy audio, for some reason, seems to be universally heard. I don't know why that is, I at first thought it was a problem with my sound settings, but everything seems to be in order in that department...
This was by far my worst run, making some trash mistakes I usually don't like eating that Cyber rocket or the Baron ball. This was also the first time I incorporated the strafe-run shortcut too.
For my runs without the shortcut, I'll use my shells and plasma to take out the Barons guarding the RL. With 50 shells, it's enough to weaken them so a little plasma can take them out. For the dark cave area, in the first part before the drop and after the Caco is dead, I can safely use splash damage of the RL to damage the Spectres waiting for me in the pit. I'll sit back up top and snipe off any stragglers. Going through the cave is a bit tricky; it boils down to having enough plasma to kill the Spectres and Cacos and get the cell packs before you run out of ammo. Splash damage the Baron around the corner and melt him with plasma. The rest is similar to how it plays out here, the only difference being if most of the Cacos get free, I'll sit down below and blast them with the RL or plasma

Wooo! Not dead!
Been busy and gonna be starting school soon so I wanna get some stuff out before then.
Ill still be restarting the Raven MIDI pack uploads again from scratch sometime in the future unless someone else does a Sound Canvas upload before I do. The program I was using to record the MIDIs had a few notes cut off at the beginning of some songs that drove me crazy. Along with the fact some songs dropped notes on the SC-55, I decided Ill start over and record all of them with my SC-88 instead.
