A lot of people complain about peeling hard boiled eggs because the shells stick. I don't remember the last time mine did, even when they were fresh from the chicken's butt, so I'm sharing how I cook them.
1- bring water in 2 quart pot to boil
2- add eggs to boiling water with spoon to avoid cracking
3- boil on high for 10 minutes for slightly soft centers or 11 minutes on high for crumbling centers
4- remove pot from heat and place in sink
5- drizzle cold water (just a little) into pot (don't dump the hot water!!) for 15-20 minutes
6- tap egg all around center line to crack (like in video)
7- peel your perfect eggs!
They peel really well freshly removed from boiling but the times I've had to peel them later they still peel fine.
