This is More backstory on Kai, and explains their old relationship and the reason they hate Eachother.

Kai was always picked on for his belief in magic.
He was often tripped by others in the halls, His locker and belongings would be wrecked, His peers steal his food at lunch every day, They write insults and curses about him on his desk, they write over his notebooks, I could go on.
One day he was Saved from bullying when Akio stood up for him. And from that day forward, they grew into the bestest of friends.
..Until a rumor came along.
Students began spreading rumors that Kai was using Akio for popularity, Which start a rivalry between Akio and Kai. And Akio would Start to Bully him even worse than anyone ever had.
And from that into the future, they’ve hated each other ever since.

For those who are wondering what Each punishment stands for, Here you go:
- He locks himself in a locker or closeted space for a day or two. Basically forcing himself to stay awake and not eat.
- To keep himself from talking, He would tie wire around his mouth to prevent him from talking. Could count as slight suffocation, too.
- The third one, Is pretty easy to understand. To put it simply, Self harm.
