Most people think of reMarkable as a simple digital notebook. That is partly the point. But inside the reMarkable ecosystem there are some genuinely useful resources that a lot of owners probably never touch.

In this video I look at reMarkable Methods, the templates, workbooks and guided planning resources included through Connect, and ask whether this is thoughtful curation, useful added value, or just a little too controlled.
There are some genuinely good things here: calendars, planning PDFs, meeting templates, Bullet Journal resources, MorningCoach materials, My Deep Guide templates and more. The question is whether this hidden layer of the reMarkable ecosystem is enough to make Connect feel more valuable.
I also compare the idea against more open approaches from Supernote, Boox and the wider creator community. For some people, reMarkable’s curated approach is exactly the appeal. For others, it may feel too limited.
This is less about whether reMarkable has the most features, and more about whether its quieter, more guided approach is actually one of its strengths.
