Head of Pentagon’s UAP office to testify to Senate Armed Services subcommittee. The new director of the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office is scheduled to meet with lawmakers in closed-door and open sessions Tuesday.

The Defense Department’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) director, Jon Kosloski, will meet with lawmakers on Tuesday in both open and closed sessions to discuss his office’s investigation of “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP), which have raised national security concerns.

The Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities is hosting the hearing, following the recent release of the Pentagon’s fiscal 2024 annual report on UAP. The term UAP, short for unidentified anomalous phenomena, is the modern equivalent of UFOs, including unidentified transmedium objects.
