Summer Robotics Camps is one of IHMC's signature educational outreach programs. Here we offer middle and high school students the chance to explore STEM through hands-on robotics challenges, creative problem-solving, and team collaboration.
The Pensacola camp is led by Heath Parr, a Brown-Barge Middle School teacher, who guides students through building and programing LEGO MindStorm robots and tackling engineering problems in a fun, supportive environment. Campers are supported by high-school aged volunteers — many of whom are ex-campers themselves — who return to share what they loved about the experience with the next generation of scientific thinkers.
Summer Robotics Camp is sponsored by Florida Blue Foundation, Cox, and NextEra Energy Foundation. To learn more, visit ihmc.us/life/robotics-camp
