ELK COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — As the state’s Department of Health confirmed three new Measles cases in our region, local school districts are taking precautions and reviewing student health protocols ahead of the new school year.

At the Ridgway Area School District, Superintendent Noel Petrosky says that there have not yet been any cases confirmed in Elk County yet, district officials are closely monitoring the situation as statewide cases now exceed 200.
