*About this show:* This is a record of one man's trip on a Pennsylvania Railroad GG1. We begin at an unnamed station but then we head to Washington DC and head back up the line to Philadelphia. From Philadelphia we head back to Washington DC. In the middle of the trip is Baltimore, which features quite a lot in this film record.
We do not see every mile between DC and Philly (and back). We see short scenes from the entire trip. This is the late 1950s or early 1960s. Color film was very expensive and many people did exactly this - turn on the camera only for highlights.
NOTE: On screen graphics show locations. This is silent film and there is no narration. Light music accompanies the video. If you'd rather not here the music, just turn down the sound and enjoy the film as it was shot - silent.
