I took my first animation class this term o: i figured I might as well upload it since I haven't uploaded anything in like 3 weeks apparently??
I've been super busy with finals, but they're all over this week and I'll be back with more MAP parts, some animatics, and hopefully some discussion/tutorial videos in the next few months!! thanks all for being patient!!

So I went to the midnight premiere of HTTYD2 opening night, and man, was it just amazing! I really loved everything about it, and it even brought to me to tears in different emotional parts ;u; Dreamworks has really outdone themselves with this one!
Anyways, I am finally off my sorta hiatus, and Im ready to make some more art ouo
I just did this one real quick because I wanted to do something different than normal felines and canines, and Ive never drawn Toothless before so here we go!
I honestly cant remember what he exactly looked like when this happened, so please ignore my mistakes xD since the movie was only released like 3 days ago, I couldnt find a picture to reference, but thats okay because Im sure I can just redo it some other time if I want X3

Ive been working on this for 14 hours, and its currently 4 am, so needless to say my computer is suffering right now as well as am I
but god damn this was a lot of fun! Thank you so much for your patience Holly, and for letting me have the part!
I focused on angles and movement in this part, I hope it shows! (also who else caught on that my backgrounds were Steven Universe inspired hah, but I got lazy after it hit about 2 am, oops)
