Jessica Pegula told media on Friday that she is "really excited" about competing at the US Open - the American's "Favourite slam."

Pegula, who reached her maiden Grand Slam singles final at the US Open in 2024 before losing to Aryna Sabalenka, is the third seed for this year's tournament and will face Romania's Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the first round.
