We Kiss in a Shadow — words by Oscar Hammerstein II, music by Richard Rodgers. First introduced in the 1951 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The King and I. The song went on to become a popular standard, frequently included in the Great American Songbook.

Peggy Lee’s version, her only studio recording of the song, was recorded February 9, 1955, with Gene DiNovi (piano), Pete Candoli (trumpet), Stella Castellucci (harp), Jack Costanzo (percussion), Bill Pitman (guitar), and rhythm section.
