For World Poetry Day, a wistful poem Peggy Lee wrote set to music by composer Harry Sukman. Accompanied by Stella Castellucci on harp, she recorded “Gold Wedding Ring” for her minimalist 1955 Decca album Sea Shells.

Summer, he gave me a gold wedding ring
Autumn, he built me a house made of stone
