Forever ago guys over at wovenlabelhk.com gave me 100 pins, and all they wanted was for me to make a video about how to order them from their site.
Yahhhhh I know I didn't make the pin.. but honestly I don't have the equipment to make such a professional looking one.. maybe one day.
I did think I would be cool to have a pin of a face... that had like some facet were it could like peel off and show the skull underneath..
This is what I came up with:) There might be a better way to do it? but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ let me know if you think of one:)
What I did was order a soft enamel pin; that way it would have grooves for the ink to sit in. Hard enamel pins - they grind it down so its flat..
I then got screen printing ink and thinned it down so it was pretty runny. With a small paint brush I just filled the grooves that I wanted. It took forever.. and doing 100 will be... fun:) haha
I then cured/dried the ink by throwing it down the oven.. I though this was going to ruin the pin... but it didn't.. it dried and peeled off pretty easily
I used tape to demonstrate that.. but I guess the original idea would be that it just peels off during time? I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
