If you've been following along for a while you know that we've used this peel and stick vinyl tile before in my master bathroom makeover. I believe it's a great product that can quickly transform a space on a tight budget. In fact, my mother-in-law loved it so much, she wanted to install a peel and stick backsplash in her kitchen.
As you know, we love to create a custom look without spending a lot of money. However, it's also important that the product be durable enough and that it looks good over an extended period of time. In fact, in a few weeks we will share a post of how this peel and stick vinyl tile has held up in my bathroom. Be sure to watch for that, if this is a product you are interested in using.
There are a variety of peel and stick backsplash options available. In particular, today we are using Snazzydecal vinyl tile stickers. In fact, these are the same type of tiles we used in my bathroom makeover last year. Which dramatically changed the look and feel of our bathroom, bringing it into the 21st century.
These vinyl tiles are a self-adhesive vinyl film. The tiles are printed with the most cutting edge printing technology with a lamination that seal all color within the films to make it super durable and scratch resistant.
In addition, the material is a commercial grade heavy duty vinyl, that's used for outdoor signage and vehicle wraps.
In fact, the vinyl tiles are fully waterproof as long as the surface is smooth.
Additionally, it is important to note that the surface be non-porous and smooth for the adhesive to work well. It must have full contact on the surface to avoid peeling over time.
As a matter of fact, you'll be seeing more of these vinyl tiles in my home soon. It's definitely a great way to update ugly tile on a budget.
These tiles are renter friendly. In fact, they can easily be removed without leaving any stick residue.
