An auto-pedestrian crash left one person dead in Smith County Monday morning. The pedestrian, Jorge Luis Garcia-Jimenez, 42 of Tyler, was taken to a local hospital where Smith County Justice of the Peace Andy Dunklin confirmed that he later died from their injuries.
