One person was critically injured Sunday afternoon when they were struck by a police car on Indianapolis' north side.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15 on Michigan Road at Double Tree Boulevard, which is just south of West 86th Street.

An IMPD spokesperson said an officer had just turned south onto Michigan Road when they struck a person.

The pedestrian, believed to be an adult male, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
