Had some thoughts and decided to just spill them out into a video. Sorta vaguely imagined I was talking to Michael Ashcroft, so I used some jargon I might not have otherwise, but still sorta spoke to the internet at large. It's easier to express myself when I don't feel like I need to explain all the context.

![What if Slack were Roam-like tho? Product demo/jam with Jiri Sedlacek
One of my design rants/docs is for a Conversation App, ie something that would compete with Slack, and when I felt into it I concluded that it basically wanted to have all the functionality of a graph app like Roam Research.
Jiri came across this draft and decided to make a prototype. Its still very early stage—the main cool thing in his demo at the moment is that you can type a [[page name]] and it becomes a new context for writing. We talk about next steps and ways to go about making this into a viable system that people can start using within a Roam graph or between multiple graphs.
