Perfect Cherry Blossom stage 4 used to give me far too much trouble, but I finally sat down and cracked it apart. Watch as I dissect everything in the stage portion, including Lily and the onslaught immediately after her.
Unfortunately, Lyrica's opener, while usually trivial, becomes a complete nightmare on highest rank that I have no idea how to deal with. I've never captured this attack when I get to it on highest rank. In fact, I died here on the easy wave, the one that follows is significantly harder. There's no good way to practice it either, since playing against the attack on highest rank requires getting through most of the stage unscathed, and dying once on the attack reverts it to one of the trivial lower ranked versions. Because of all of this I don't see myself trying to push this farther into a perfect run, at least not without some sort of epiphany on this attack.
Random notes:
- Max lives/bombs is pretty cool, the only other time I've seen that is when doing IN stage four practice runs.
- The Prismrivers' final spellcard is the definition of luck garbage. Ugh. I'm so happy it cooperated in this run.
- I must apologize to Lily for comparing her and the onslaught that follows her to Momizi and her subsequent bullshit. Lily and gang are fun, and as I demonstrate in this run quite doable. Momizi is not fun, and her gang is essentially impossible.

![Lets Play I Wanna Be The Barrage: Extra Stage
Ignoring the game designers warning, we plunge headfirst into the Extra stage. Just how bad can it be? For reference, I had 760 deaths and 5:45 on the clock at the beginning of this episode. Just how high will those numbers go?
I Wanna Be The Barrage is an I Wanna Be The Guy fangame with a danmaku and Touhou twist. The game is broken up into short individual rooms, each containing a unique danmaku pattern that the Kid must survive using his infinite aerial jumps. The difficulty is merely punishing at first, but it steadily grows into an absurdly obscene display of beautiful bullshit. Join me as I journey through the game from start to finish and attempt to explain just what makes everything tick.
If youre interested in trying the game for yourself - and you should be, if only to see if the gameplay clicks for you as much as it did for me and my friends - then you can grab the game from the creators website here: http://saibrwanna.webnode.jp/
