Five years after the incident at the Library, shades have overrun the world and constantly attack the town. The people are running out of resources and living is becoming much harder for them. The protagonist has also gotten much stronger, able to wield larger swords and spears, and also now wears a face mask to cover one of his eyes that he may have lost in battle. Along with the character creation demo for PSO2 came a benchmark, and my system passed on highest settings with flying colors. Any hiccups or frame drops were caused entirely by Fraps; when not recording I hit a solid 60fps the whole time. Full specs are on my profile.")

The protagonist visits the Junk Heap in order to find more sealed verses, and meets two young children in a small shack. They tell him that their mother has gone deep into the mines to collect scrap metal and that she hasnt been back in a long time, so the protagonist offers to go find her for them. On the way there, a large Gohdan-like security robot appears to stop him. Its pretty much a copy of the strategy from Wind Wakers version.")
