Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - HOW TO PLAY WITH A LOW QUALITY GFX CARD ( 1060 / 1660 GTX) PLAYABLE LOW GRAPHICS SETTINGS
Here is a quick video to show the settings you can use to get the most optimal experience on a low quality graphics card. Since the game requires at least 2660 you will need to turn most everything down that causes VRAM usage to go up. You will want to basically turn every setting to what I have it in the video under the Graphics Settings. Once you have applied all these settings also make sure you are in windowed mode and cascade the screen to 1/3 monitor size and the game should be able to run smoothly even with a low end graphics card. Make sure you have all other apps on your computer closed as well. Before I had these settings my game would crash as soon as 10+ zombies were coming after me but after these settings even not in a cascaded window I was able to get to round 40 without any issues in a game that lasted over an hour! Dead Ops Arcade 3 will be a little harder to run so its great for testing your computer's capabilities! Hope this video helped, just remember the most important things are to:
1. Keep VRAM usage down. Turn any settings that mention VRAM to LOW or LOWEST or OFF or NONE
2. Turn off shaders/shadows/high quality textures
3. Turn off all motion blur
4. Turn down render view distance to LOWEST
5. Turn intro cutscenes off and Disable graphic content
Make sure you don't have other programs open, I was able to even record this video while playing on a 1060 so these settings should really improve anyone having trouble getting the game to run
