We are taught from the time that we are children that we must forgive everyone, even when they aren't sorry. "It's for your own good," we're told. Preachers, Christian counselors, and teachers tell us this, not to mention Hollywood, academia, and politicians. "Jesus said to forgive others... He even asked His Father to forgive them while He was on the cross. This means that we must forgive everyone," is the mantra.
In this important and extremely practical sermon, Pastor Ray McBerry shows clearly from Scripture what the Bible teaches about forgiveness... both forgiving others and being forgiven ourselves. Our Pastor goes against the grain and shows from the Word of God what no other preacher is going to tell you. The answer is going to shock you, but the message has the power to free you from the chains of guilt and hurt that will destroy you otherwise.
