Brought back from the brink and a guaranteed eventual trip to the crusher, this is the original hero car from Back to the Future. It endured quite a life on the Universal lot (both in the theme park and then later on the tram tour) and had had a good chunk of its pieces removed as scrap or souvenirs until it underwent a frame off restoration not long ago. It sat on display in a glass case on the lower lot at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park for a year or two before going into storage, and then resurfaced at the Petersen, freed from its case, although touching is neither encouraged, nor appreciated. :)

Taken back in 2016, I sped this up 50% because it goes a little slow. I guess you had to be there. A valiant early effort at this sort of thing, Disney bought this show as a turnkey from Intel, who is doing amazing things with drone entertainment.")
