This is the Pawlik Lab's 2014/2015 entry in the Ocean 180 Video Challenge. The "challenge" is to present a recent scientific journal article in 180 seconds (3 min) that can be understood by 6th-8th grade students.
The video explains the questions and experiments that led to the discovery that the brittlestar is a parasite, not a mutualist, of the gray tube sponge.
