Pause Boosts are relatively unused for top level speedrunning due to how slow they are to perform (and the necessity of getting both Arbalest and Destroyer Blade), but they do allow a lot of pre-existing skips to be much easier to perform, and allow all new kinds of skips. They're honestly some of my favorite speed tech in the game just for how ridiculous they are without being so overbearing to any runs.
