After nearly 4 years my YouTube Channel is back.
I successfully challenged the YouTube strikes.
This was achieved with the pro bono help
of law school graduate students. (continued...


Anyone who posts vintage videos can run afoul
of copyright maximilists. We're
"dolphins" unlucky enough to get
caught in fish nets intended for content pirates.

Most of the clips in my collection are effectively
orphan videos that would not exist but for
my archival preservation efforts.


The clips are mostly just excerpts
so while not transformative, I'm still exercising
a Fair Use right. Call it curatorial commentary.
Both silly and sage, this archive is
preserving culture for the ages.

Remix & vintage videos channels have uncertain lives.
Enjoy them while you can, exercise your Fair Use rights and spread the word.
