Charted at #78 on Billboard Hot 100 in November 1963. Paul's last Billboard charting single was this peppy tribute to cheerleaders, and the tribulations of dating one. The girls in the photos are all authentic cheerleaders from 1963; high school, college and university levels (specific credits below). This single was a bigger hit in some local markets, among them, Miami, Florida, where it went Top 10, and the weather is always right for cheerleading! I wonder if this is the only Top 40 hit about cheerleaders.
