Paul & Barry Ryan-Interview in London in 1989.please visit Barry's webb site barryryan.net Thanks to ddoortje for sending it to me...they want to know what their future plans are of Barry the photographer of fashion and music..also they met Paul his twin brother who wrote turn away for Barry,Paul got popular in 1968 with Eloise in 1971..he got famous in Germany with the song Die Zeit.. but Barry stopped singing in 1972, he was rich and famous but very unhappy because he was to young to cop with it, he started with painting, but when someone put a camera in his hand he got his love for photography, for a living he became a fashion and music photography.
In 1989 Paul suggested to Barry to sing again,firstly Barry refused,also remixing Eloise was a bad idea, but when Paul composed Turn Away Barry decided to sing the song,because it matched perfect with his voice, Paul wrote also for Barbara Streisand and Frank Sinatra,Paul is very happy to work again with Barry, they have the same feeling's for music Paul is the critic for Barry and Paul is always with Barry when he is on the set for recording songs.
