Costuming Drama | Pattern Testing A New Italian Gown | Aidah Gown Part 1 @Costuming_Drama | Uploaded January 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Hello Friends! Today we are pattern testing a new Italian gown for Scroop Patterns and Virgil's Fine Goods, the Aidah Gown! This is a beautiful Italian gown that has three different types of fronts (depending on if you go for a zone front with tabs or not) and two backs with some optional trains. I have decided to do the front from one view and the back from another and we will see about the train later! I am in the toile phase here, and so far, this pattern is looking very good, although very short waisted.
I will be making a few videos about this dress, a couple for the Toile and maybe a couple for the final gown, plus maybe one shorter, fast-build video of how this dress goes together.
