Country music from late (?) 1970's. Song written by Howard Hausey (Crockett). I'm not quite sure when this was released but I guess in the late 1970's. The record label is also a mystery. Howard Crockett recorded one 45 for Fort Worth, Texas "International Sounds" label in 1966 (IS 101). There were at least 8 releases on that label but the release numbers were somewhat puzzling. In the 1970's Crockett recorded an LP and four 45's for "Texas International" label and the last one was released in 1978 (T.I.R. 107). On that release there's a mention of C & C Productions just like on this Patsy Jones record label. I think C & C Productions was Sonny Christopher and Howard Crockett. What is interesting the label design is very similar on that "Texas International" release to that of this "International Sound" 45. Because of the similar label design, I think this release must be from around 1978. I can't find any other recordings of Patsy Jones. There is an English pop singer by the same name but she is not the same artist. On the flip side of this record is another Howard Crockett song, a cover version of one of the Johnny Horton hits, "Whispering Pines".
