I explore the connection between theology, humanity, history and culture. I do this in the hopes of creating meaningful dialogue with others. I am creating dialogues with Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Russel Brand and other powerful voices in culture.
My purpose with this video is not to pursue strangeness for the sake of strangeness, but rather to encourage Christians to be OK with mystery in a world that seems very uncomfortable with it. We want to pin down and have answers for the Bible when the Bible is often mysterious we want to sanitize things You don’t wanna be stupid, and so the pendulum has swung towards those things in the Bible, which pastors and teachers are comfortable addressing in public, I have never heard a sermon on Genesis chapter 6, so Christian or the church that wanders into these strange places of our faith is going to be more Prepared to welcome in the cat van the Blair Whites, the Joe Rogan’s the Russell Brand of what is shaping up to be sort of a reformed church. Or a reformed ecclesiology, and a reformed understanding of what the church is and who it’s made of.
