On Sept. 4, a new multi-use walkway along Wilson Avenue, was dedicated in honor of Gavin Myers, a student who was tragically struck by a drunk driver on June 8, 2018.

The City of Loveland, Thompson School District, and the Myers family collaborated to make this walkway a reality.

This walkway now provides safe passage for Loveland children to get to school and home again safely. It is dedicated to Gavin’s legacy and our children’s futures.
