PathWave Test Executive for Manufacturing (PTEM) software comes with the Switch Manager workspace that lets you create a graphical representation of your test setup. This provides users with a better overview of the test hardware connections and makes it easier to locate connections during debug. It’s like having softcopy of the tester schematic at your fingertips. With a clear overview of the instrument’s connections, you can define the switch path settings for the pin matrixes with ease and minimize the chances of entering the wrong relay number or port. With the graphical design, you don’t need to work with the low-level relay and pin numbers. All you need is to select the port of the instrument to add into your switch path definition, and the connections are created automatically by PTEM.
