I was inspired by Denis Villeneuve's Dune movies for this edit. I shot the 2024 solar eclipse as well as footage of an eclipse watch party in Fredericton, New Brunswick, along the path of totality.

The people were all filmed with a Back Bone-modified GoPro Hero 7 Black in 720nm infrared, with a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8. The sun was filmed with a Canon EOS M with Magic Lantern shooting 2.8K 14-bit raw with a Nikkor AIS 80-200mm on a doubler.
Aerials were the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
