Same strat as with the favor farm, just do it in solo mode. The only thing you gotta pay attention to is that in the result screen, you see a level up bar from "no Renown" to Renown 1 or above, then it starts working. If you see your actual Renown level, you'll have to go past that, aka "wasting your time real quick" and then it starts working. So either way, it just starts working at some point. Pick a heist that works best for you to solo mode grind over and over.

A different and in my opinion more fun way to play the game instead of running the classic damage reduction / dodge way of playing the game.
Its not perfect but it does the job if you play properly.
