Heads up, dont shoot! Thats the movement? The Black Lives Matter movement is not just a hashtag, Its an entire nation against injustice and inequality. Its everyone against racism. We should all come together because its time to change that. Were in 2020, and people are still getting killed because of their skin color. Its wrong. Everything about this is wrong. We must fight. We wont surrender. It has to end. They say theyre listening They say dont look, but were making history. If you aint angry, you aint listening, you aint paying attention. I cant breathe! He was screaming. Screaming for the woman who gave him life, so racism can destroy his. Why you aint just moving your knee? Why cant you just see the pain youre causing up in all these streets? Martin Luther King would be ashamed right now, there comes a time, when silence becomes betrayal, he said. Well that time has come. Speak up against people who need it. You say be peaceful, he was peaceful and he got shot. Black lives matter, black lives still matter, black lives mattered yesterday, black lives matter today, black lives will matter tomorrow and the day after that. Lets make them matter now. People fighting for the skin they were born with makes no sense. They didnt choose to be the target of people with no brain. Theres a different between being black and being dark, dark looks black but black aint dark. You should get and scream that you understand that will never understand, however you stand. Be heard, be loud, say their names, scream and shout until your voice is sore, because if you stay silent in situations of injustice, youve chosen the side of the oppressor. Black people have been in this fight since no one remembers when. Imagine waking up with the same fear everyday. Imagine having to fight everyday for your life, your loved ones, and all the lives of people who have the same skin color as you. Imagine protesting peacefully and getting attacked by cops and the government. Imagine being mistreated every single day only because your skin color is different. Imagine sparking so much rage and disgust in someone just because your skin is not white. Imagine not being welcomed anywhere because racists feel uncomfortable when you walk into the room. I am white. But i will not surrender. I will be fighting as long as im alive. This is wrong. Racism is wrong. The society is corrupted and flawed and spreading injustice and hate towards people who dont deserve so much hate. They didnt ask for all of this. Were all human being and this has to stop. I will not be silent. Dont be silent either. Educate your family and friends. Shut down the racists because racism is not an opinion. Protest, donate, sign petitions. Speak up. Dont let society destoy peoples lives just because of their skin color.
