This easy magic trick is often found in beginning magic sets for kids. You bring out a frame and show that there is "glass" (actually transparent plastic) throughout the frame. You can have the spectator examine the frame and tap on the glass to prove that it's solid everywhere.
You place a card over the glass and amazingly, cause a toothpick to pass through both the card and glass. At the end, you show that there's a hole in the card but the glass remains unscathed. How is this possible?
