Michael David Rosenberg (born 17 May 1984), better known by his stage name Passenger, is a British folk-rock singer-songwriter. His stage moniker comes from being the Passenger's main vocalist and songwriter, which released just one album (Wicked Man's Rest) before breaking up. When the members of the band chose to go their own separate ways in 2009, Rosenberg opted to keep the band's name for his solo work. His most successful single "Let Her Go" has topped the charts in 16 countries so far.
He performed "All The Little Lights", a second song, for us, in the Church of Saint-Merri in Paris, using perfectly the reverberation of the monument! It was a magical moment!
Each day, a sweety musical surprise!

We are pleased to show you Rixton. We know they are different from what youre used to see here, but that does not take away the talent of this British band. Weve been seduced by their voices and instruments harmonies. They are famous thanks to their Usher and Chris Brown cover, because they knew how to take the songs and make them their own. They were able to show that they were talented musicians. Weve been curious so we invited them to the flatshare and were glad we did it!
So, we met them at the Workshop in Paris for an acoustic session where they played Me And My Broken Heart.")

We talked about it recently, when we met Tove Styrke: Swedish artists are shining bright like a diamond on the international pop music stage!
Here’s another proof with 26-year-old artist Erik Hassle: you may not know him yet but he managed some pretty nice achievements so far: his last EP, ‘Somebody’s Party‘ (2014) was a hit in Sweden; his ‘No Words‘ single, released in April, has more than 400 000 views on Youtube; he co-wrote a song for Rihanna and Shakira, and collaborated with Tinashe as well as fellow artists Icona Pop. Wow!
Erik Hassle‘s music style is kind of a mix between Robyn (who went to the same musical school as Erik in Sweden) and Justin Timberlake (they share some capillary resemblances by the way). The young artist delivers a nice indie pop music, injected with some RnB vibes – sometimes melancholic, sometimes built for the dancefloors!
After opening for Jessie J in France, the pop phenomenon will be performing for Tove Lo‘s American tour this fall (speaking of brilliant Swedish artists…).

Benjamin Stanford, aka Dub FX, has been delighting his fans for some years now with his Beat Box approach of Dub/Drum & Bass music. Indeed, this Australian performer has the particularity to use vocal samples that he integrates to a loop station, in order to construct the bass line and the beat that are going to constitute the core of his song. This allows him to mix his own vocals live, sing/rap/scream on top of it, and bring other performers such as saxophonists or guitarists into his music. Dub FX found that performing live in the streets was the best way to advertise himself, and thats what he became known for: he is now a producer for the label he created, Convoy Un.Ltd, and travels the world for his tours… We met him before his gig in Paris under the grounds of the Moulin Rouge, where he delivered us a very latino version of his track Soothe your pain, accompanied by his guitarist and a synth.
Benjamin Stanford, aka Dub FX, ravit depuis déjà plusieurs années ses fans grâce à son approche Beat Box de la musique Dub et DrumnBass. En effet, cet Autralien dorigine a pour particularité dutiliser des samples vocaux quil intègre à une pédale deffets, afin de construire la ligne de basse et le beat de ses morceaux, par dessus lesquels il chante, rappe, ou crie, parfois accompagné dautres musiciens. Dub FX sest dabord fait connaitre pour ses performances lives quil filmait dans la rue, avant de devenir le principal producteur de son label Convoy Un.Ltd et de parcourir le monde lors de ses tournées. Nous sommes allés à sa rencontre avant son concert à la Machine du Moulin Rouge, où il nous a livré une version très rythmée, presque latino, de son titre Soothe your pain, accompagné de son guitariste et dun synthé.")

Gagnants du concours Paris Jeunes Talents, dont 3ème Gauche est partenaire, voici Feu! Chatterton, pour une session estampillée française, où rock et littérature se retrouvent pour notre plus grand plaisir. Revendiquant des influences aussi variées que Gainsbourg, Bashung, Radiohead ou encore Led Zeppelin, le groupe qui assurait la première partie de Fauve au Bataclan en Mai, fait beaucoup parler de lui depuis quelques mois… Et pour cause, non content davoir rafler la première place du concours francilien, il seront présents à la finale des Inrocks Lab ce Samedi au Trianon, et on pourra aussi bientôt les apercevoir dans Presque Célèbres, la nouvelle rubrique du Grand Journal. Entre les murs vides de leur nouvel appartement, nous avons retrouvé le poète Arthur et le reste du groupe, pour une belle leçon de chanson Française avec La Malinche, une sorte de lettre damour post-punk.")
