dewinthemorning | Pascal's Wager? Or "Something Else" Wager? Your Suggestions for a Name? @dewinthemorning | Uploaded October 2013 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
We all know how Pascal's wager is formulated. I think there is another wager, with profits and losses for individuals involved, but it's not the individuals from the masses. There are people, who do profit from other people's belief in god, and those are the people whose profession it is to make people believe in god (or keep up their belief). They work assiduously in promoting that belief, because if they don't, they will suffer losses. I am not saying that they are not believers themselves. They might be!

But for more mirth, youtube.com/watch?v=1PXnb8IKl4Y where a third option is proposed which should also be considered by Christians: Yes, there is an afterlife but you only can go to it after you've been an atheist. LOL
